On the Front Lines
Vonda is an entrepreneur and has owned her own clothing store before building her Melaleuca business. Vonda knew she couldn’t pass on this opportunity. While she was concentrating on the business side, her husband Jerome was focusing on the wellness side of Melaleuca. “I decided to close my clothing store a year ago and I still have a room full of inventory. What excited me about Melaleuca as a business opportunity was the fact that it only took $29 to get started and there was no inventory to maintain.” They have a three-year-old son and know time is important. “We’re doing this to free up some additional time; I’m very involved with the music ministry at my church, we want more finances to do the things we like to do and we want a better quality of life,” she says. “Melaleuca is a wonderful vehicle to assist in fulfilling any goals as it enhances the quality of life for everyone that uses the products. Vonda has seen how Melaleuca has helped many people within her own organization. “It’s a blessing to see others improve both financially and health wise,” she says. “One thing I’ve seen is how the Renew lotion has helped many people. I have received numerous testimonies from people who no longer suffer with eczema since they’ve used this wonderful product.” Her newest endeavor has been trying to develop plans that will help her builders stay focused. “I think I’m at a point where I know I have to think out of the box and do different things,” she says. Vonda is on the front lines helping builders in her organization wherever she is needed. “I assist builders with presentations and trainings. We stay in contact and communicate on a weekly basis,” she says. “We brainstorm for new ideas to help keep each other motivated.” “We’ve been with Melaleuca since November 2006, we’ve encountered rough patches but we didn’t give up,” she says. “As a leader you must keep a positive attitude regardless of the ups and downs because leaders lead by example. You need to have the tenacity not to give up.” Vonda knows she won’t stop here; she has goals to advance to Senior Director by the end of the month. “I will excel as far as I can. I will continue to maintain the discipline needed to achieve my goals. When you are made aware of what’s right, you’re accountable for that knowledge, and I know now that the cleaning products that I’ve used in the past had toxic chemicals in them,” she says. “To go back to them would be ludicrous. It isn’t even an option.” Copyright ©2007 iGlide.net All Rights Reserved |
